Big Wheel

Last weekend, Daddy and Mommy took me for a ride on the big wheel.
It was kinda fun...

The cars looked so small from high up on the wheel - like my toys cars.
Daddy says that we can go again when Mei Mei grows a little bigger.

Here are all my pics to share!

THE SWING
How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh I do think it the pleasantest thing,
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all,
Over the countryside.

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown,
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

BY: Robert Louis Stevenson
(1850-1894)

One of Grampa's favourite writer & poet. 'Treasure Island', "Kidnapped' and 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde' are some books he wrote. He is also known for children's poetry.

Please read it with a swinging feel to your voice and let Joshie listen to it a few times because he loves poems. Swing your arms as you read because it's an action poem.
