In The Car

When I was younger, I would obediently sit in my car-seat whenever we sat in Daddy's car.
Over the past few months, things changed.
I hated the car-seat, as I didn't like to be strapped down, and bouncing up-and-down on Mommy's lap was much more fun!
Daddy said that it was really unsafe for me to be unstrapped.

So, a few weeks back, Mommy got me a portable DVD player.
It's attached to the back of Daddy's seat, and now I can watch Barney on the move.
See how obediently I sit in my seat, now.... :)

Dear Sir,

I must say it was an interesting choice you made, either the TV for the baby to enjoy a show and be safe or sit on his mother's lap and be unsafe???

Could've been great if he had been given story books to look at while he's in the special seat? That's another choice. Or mummy/anyone could read to him? Another choice.

Hope he doesn't turn out to be a TV addict. And he's not even two. Then it wouldn't have been a good choice.

Best choice? Let him sit on his mother's lap.

Sigh!

Yours faithfully,
Anon.
